Client Transformations

Real People.
Real Results.

Every transformation shown here reflects a real coaching relationship: personalized training, nutrition structure, accountability, progress monitoring, and ongoing adjustment. Results vary, but the process remains the same: assess, design, execute, track, adjust, and evolve.

Every result here came from the same system. Different people, different starting points, different goals, same standard of coaching.

Peel's fat loss and performance transformation — before and after
Peel
Fat Loss & Tactical Readiness Performance Transformation

35 Pounds Down.
Built for Special Forces.

Peel came to EFE while balancing Army Reserve responsibilities, nursing school, and a goal he never lost sight of: Army Special Forces selection. He needed a structure that could drive serious fat loss, build functional strength and endurance, and support recovery across an already demanding schedule. Over our time together, Peel lost 35 lbs, became significantly leaner and stronger, and developed the work capacity, endurance, and resilience that selection demands. His schedule never stopped being hard. The plan adapted around it. Peel is currently still working with EFE and has been moving through the selection pipeline with exactly the kind of consistency and readiness this process was built to develop.

Coach’s Note

Peel is one of those clients who reminds you why this work matters. He never made excuses, never skipped a hard conversation, and never stopped showing up — even when his schedule made it incredibly difficult. I’m genuinely proud of how far he’s come, and even prouder to still be in his corner as he chases something most people wouldn’t dare attempt.

Juan's runner strength and performance transformation — before and after
Juan
Runner Strength Development Performance & Resilience

Rebuilt to Run Again.
Stronger Than Before.

Juan came to EFE after serious lower-leg surgery that left him genuinely uncertain whether marathon running was part of his future. He had finished a marathon years before, but even that race had left him beaten up and questioning how much more he had in him. After surgery, the doubt ran deeper. His goals coming in were to lose weight, rebuild strength and durability, and return to the sport he loved. As his mileage ramped up in marathon preparation, we adjusted lifting volume and nutrition targets week by week to keep up with the demands of both. Too much in the gym and recovery fell apart. Too little and he wasn’t building the durability he needed on race day. In his return marathon, Juan ran with better pace than he had before his surgery and felt strong through the large majority of the race. A couple miles from the finish line, his surgical leg reached its limit. Pushing through would have risked real long-term damage, and stepping off was the right call — even if it was one of the hardest ones. The comeback is still in progress, and the best is ahead of him.

Coach’s Note

What doesn’t show up in any photo is what Juan was managing outside of training. Rotating hospital shifts, graveyards, travel, and the physical reality of rebuilding a leg that had been through something serious. He kept showing up anyway. Not finishing the marathon wasn’t failure — it was discipline. His pace was better than pre-surgery, his body was stronger, and there is no question about the miles still left in him. That race wasn’t the end of the story. I’m proud of everything he’s pushed through to get here.

Vashawn's body composition transformation — before and after
Vashawn
In-Person Coaching Body Composition Transformation

Built in the Gym.
Changed Everything Else.

Vashawn came to EFE at a point when more than his fitness was struggling. His marriage was strained, his relationship with his children was suffering, and he had started and stopped his fitness journey more times than he could count. Working demanding hours made consistency feel impossible; what he really needed was structure and something to build on. The coaching focus was on execution habits, nutrition, and creating a process durable enough to survive a full life. Over time, he reduced body fat, added lean muscle, and built consistency that compounded well beyond the gym. His career has advanced. His marriage has improved. His relationship with his children is in a better place. He tells me that people treat him differently now — that he carries a presence that commands respect on job sites, in his family, and in everyday interactions. Vashawn and I are still working together, and we’re currently building toward something he’s never done before: his first bodybuilding show this year.

Coach’s Note

The physical change is real and I’m proud of it. But what moves me most is watching Vashawn grow as a husband, a father, and a man of faith. When we started, there was weight being carried that had nothing to do with the scale. Watching him show up differently for his wife, be more present with his kids, and walk into rooms with a presence he didn’t have before. That’s the kind of transformation that doesn’t fit in a before-and-after photo. I’m proud of him in every sense. And I can’t wait to see him on stage.

Long-Term Coaching Relationships

Trust Built
Over Time.

Not every result is captured in a before-and-after photo. Some of the strongest proof is long-term trust: clients who continue through demanding seasons of life, refer family members, and rely on EFE for structure, accountability, and progress over time.

Cisco — long-term EFE coaching client
Long-Term Coaching Relationship

Built to Command the Room.
In the Gym and the Courtroom.

Cisco came to EFE while grinding through law school, full-time work, fatherhood, and late-night training sessions he barely had energy for. He had a clear vision: a more commanding physical presence, the kind that would carry weight in a future courtroom and at home. But he was already stretched thin, and he couldn’t see how he could possibly commit more time or effort.

That’s when we changed the frame. He didn’t need to work harder. He needed to make his effort more productive. We identified the specific issues holding his nutrition back, replaced ineffective supplements with approaches that actually matched his goals, and focused on improving the quality of his sleep rather than fighting for more of it. Small shifts, but the kind that compound when everything is pointed in the same direction.

Cisco started making progress he hadn’t been able to create despite years of effort. He went on to become a practicing attorney, an even more involved father, and someone who enjoys the gym rather than just enduring it. He later trusted EFE with his son’s athletic development as well, which says more than any number could.

What stayed with me about Cisco is that he was already one of the hardest-working people in the room. He just needed someone to show him where that effort was being wasted and redirect it. Watching him build a career, show up for his family, and walk into the gym with genuine enjoyment. That’s exactly what this is supposed to look like. Proud of him.

Sultan — long-term EFE coaching client, before and after
Long-Term Coaching Relationship

Built for His Family.
Guided by His Faith.

Sultan came to EFE with a full life and a clear vision. As a husband, father, adoptive father, and business owner — his company serves individuals with mental disabilities; he carries meaningful responsibility every single day. He had worked with multiple trainers before without finding the structure and accountability he was looking for. He came to EFE ready to do what it actually took.

His goal went beyond the physical. Sultan wanted to look like a superhero, for himself and for his family. He wanted his kids to see a father who shows up fully: in health, in presence, and in faith. That kind of motivation doesn’t disappear when a session gets hard.

As he committed fully to the training, nutrition, and adjustment process, his progress accelerated. He’s built muscle, reduced body fat, and continued to show up through every demanding season of life without losing sight of why he started.

What I didn’t expect was what Sultan would teach me. He carries a trust in God’s will that I don’t often see: a genuine, unhurried faith in the middle of real responsibility and real pressure. Watching him put things into His hands and move forward anyway reminded me of something I needed. I’m grateful for this relationship in ways that go beyond coaching.

Shorter Proof.
Real Progress.

Performance improvements, consistency breakthroughs, competition prep, strength development, fat loss, lifestyle change, and confidence built through disciplined execution.

Vern — competition prep client, on stage
Competition Prep Vern

8 Weeks Out. Started Over. Hit the Stage.

The first time I met Vern, he already looked like a competitor. He was working at a supplement shop, clearly deep into bodybuilding, and had the kind of size that made his passion obvious. But he came to me 8 weeks from a show with a program that had left him nowhere near ready. His previous coach had taken his trust, his investment, and his prep time and failed him. He had given everything to get on that stage. I was early in my coaching career, and I could feel exactly what this moment meant to him. So I took over his entire program, free of charge, and we got to work. We crash dieted to get him as conditioned as we could with the time we had — and we made it. In the off-season we kept building, and the second show gave us a full runway to do it right. Vern hit the stage in incredible condition. He has since built his own coaching business, and that says everything.

“Vern’s story reminded me why I got into this. A guy who wanted it badly, was done wrong by someone he trusted, and didn’t quit. Watching him step on that stage, and seeing him coach others now, means more to me than any result I could put a number on.”

Ryan — contest prep client, at competition
Contest Preparation Ryan

First Show. Full Schedule. Made It to the Stage.

I had known Ryan for years before we ever worked together, the kind of gym relationship built on passing conversations and mutual respect. When he decided he wanted to compete, he came to me. He had watched me compete for years and trusted what he saw. What Ryan had was heart. What he didn’t have was time. He was a full-time student and a bartender, often working nights, and frequently felt like he didn’t have enough time to even eat, let alone prep for a show. His knowledge of training was limited when we started. But his willingness to learn and execute was not. We built his nutrition around his actual schedule, structured his training around school and bartending shifts, and dialed everything in week by week. Ryan made it to his very first men’s physique show conditioned and ready. That’s not something everyone pulls off, especially not on a first attempt with a packed life.

“Ryan had every reason to say it wasn’t the right time. Instead, he trusted the process and showed up for every session, every meal, and every week of a prep cycle he had never done before. Proud of him for that.”

Isa — strength, performance and body composition client
Strength, Performance & Body Composition Isa

Managing Everything Alone.
Still Showed Up.

Isa came to EFE with a clear set of goals: lean down while maintaining muscle, improve her CrossFit performance, build her glutes and chest, tighten her midsection, and finally understand her nutrition in a way that actually stuck. She had a lot she wanted to accomplish, and she was doing it as a busy working mom with her husband away for military training, managing everything at home on her own. She could have put it off. No one would have blamed her. Instead she stayed disciplined, followed the structure, and made measurable progress through every demanding week.

  • 168 to 159 lbs
  • Muscle maintained while leaning out
  • Noticeable CrossFit performance improvements
  • Stronger nutrition consistency
  • Athlete Spotlight at her CrossFit gym

“What stands out about Isa isn’t just the 9 pounds or the CrossFit numbers; it’s that she earned an Athlete Spotlight at her gym while doing all of this without her husband home. That recognition came from her community because they could see what she was building. That’s not just fitness. That’s character.”
